By Howard Korn
I sought out the listing for this grinder because I bought it last week at Target and love it and wanted to write the review. This grinder addresses all the shortcomings (almost) of all the other grinders I have used. I grind for a standard pot of coffee daily. I had a cheapo grinder that you put the coffee in, put the plastic cup on top, push down on the top and count to 20 and then flip it, removing the cup that has the ground coffee in it (creating a mess no matter how careful you are) and dump it in the maker. This one was dependable, but poorly designed for user interaction. It finally broke. This new one is wonderful. It has a flip top into which you can easily pour the beans. Then the settings for grind type and amount actually work! You hold down the button on top and the coffee is ground perfectly. Then, the container of the grinds twists off and the lid allows you to pour them out easily into your maker. The top is also removable and so all are cleanable. It is not rocket surgery coming up with this great design, but you would think it is since it took so long! Only shortcoming is the short cord, which they all claim is for safety, but it still reaches far enough for our use. Hopefully, it will last a good while. The design is great!

I have had this grinder a few months now - first one I have owned. Pay attention to the amount it holds. I'm sure I had misread description, I thought their was a hopper that held a lot of beans not just for one pot. Operation is good, grinds it right up! By far the biggest and very annoying problem is the cord it is unbelievably short. The cord is so short that its hard to program the grind settings after you plug it in. I would not buy this product again simply due to such a short cord. How cheap can they be to do that. Rediculous!

By DojoDiva
This grinder didn't last much beyond 6 months. Performance was only OK since the weird interior basket broke about 2 months before the motor quit. The basket is supposed to scrape the grounds off of the sides, but wasn't effective. When it broke it didn't interfere with the grinding action. The flip-top cover, however, was brilliant, allowing me to check on the fineness of the grind I need for espresso. The automatic timer/grinder function was ineffective since I only grind 2 cups at a time and the minimum setting is for 4 cups. After having 2 grinders wear out in less than 2 years I'm moving to a hand-operated grinder which has excellent reviews here on Amazon.
