As the title states, it died after three uses. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Spend the extra $5-10 on something decent.

Have used this grinder for coffee beans, 1X per day for a total of 3 days. Now the internal threads of the blade have been stripped and the blade can no longer be attached to the grinding motor pin. Now this is completely unusable. Just purchased a Krups (have 3 others that have worked great for years) to replace this Hamilton Beach grinder.

Did two different sections of Hamilton Beach create this grinder? The cap/scoop holds 3/4 of a cup of coffee beans and the grinder itself holds 1/2 a cup. Let's do the math. Yup, the beans fall on the floor or you have to tip the grinder upside down to put the cap on, then flip it upright to grind, then flip it back over and hope it doesn't spill upon opening...or you could try to crack it like an egg over the coffee filter. Lord help the hapless visitor who tries to use this. Ugh. Pick something...anything else.
