By pd
Zassenhaus Coffee Grinder 156BU is a quality product that appears to be made to the highest standards. It certainly looks and feels as if it will last for many, many years and it was a pleasure to see an imported product so well-made and thoughtfully designed. I bought it to grind coffee in case of a power failure but it's so beautifully designed and the coffee ground in it so delicious that I will be displaying it in my kitchen and will be using it frequently. It takes about one minute to grind enough beans for two cups of coffee made in a French press. The handle mechanism is sturdy and is easy to turn. You may find holding it between the knees (as suggested by other buyers) while seated easier but this is not necessary to use it. I am going to attach 4 sticky backed round bumpers to the bottom of mine to keep it from moving on the counter.

By JimElyriaOh
I bought this exact grinder 2 or 3 years ago after having the motors on two grinders burn out on me. Needless to say, that isn't going to be a problem with this grinder. It's also a beautiful looking precision machine that looks so much better than a grinder with an electric cord hanging out.

By pizelda
I always buy coffee beans for better, fresher tasting coffee so I wanted this for when "the electricity" goes out. I must have my coffee! Works great and love that it goes between the knees for stability in grinding.
