I have had my Baratza Preciso Grinder for one year now. I use it for when grinding beans for my Pour-Over cone and my Bodum French Press. I know that it has more adjustment settings than I will ever use (40 macro and 11 micro), but it's nice to know that it can do whatever I ask it to, when I do get a semi-automatic espresso machine. Right now I am using two capsule machines (iLLY Y1 and Bialetti Mini Express). My wife and I both prefer the iLLY coffee, but I am reminded of what the CEO of Starbucks said at one time when asked where you could get the best cup of coffee, he replied, at your house, using a French Press.I would imagine that the Preciso could last for many, many years. I especially like the fact that the plastic grinds receptacle is made of an anti-static plastic.
