I have made the Strongest Espresso ever, with this tool.Very durable, not as mock-off, or knock-off - its the original.

By Troy Vitullo
When you get this grinder in the mail there are the remains of one coffee bean inside it. They test it out before they send it, which is really cool. What I found though is that coffee beans in general are a little too big for this grinder. It can still grind your beans but you have to shake it and fiddle with it a bunch before a bean falls into the grinding mechanism. Then there's a satisfying grinding sound as you obliterate the bean. Then the whole process starts over again. That's why it's frustrating and addictive. You can take the top off and watch this happen. The bean just bounces around until it lands at just the right angle to fall into the gap between the grinder and the cylinder, where it's pulled down and turned into grounds. As an experiment I put some beans into an electric grinder for a split second to chop them into smaller pieces. I put that into the grinder and ran it. It worked great, proving the point that this grinder is just too small for coffee beans.

By A. J. Pace
This was a great product. It is beautifully made, and works well with coffee, but we purchased it to use as a pepper mill. It is exactly what we were looking for, and is a high quality item that performs beautifully.
