I bought this knowing it would be low quality, but didn't expect how low. It grinds much worse than my cheap blade grinder, and lasted a mere week before giving out. The grounds were incredibly uneven, and the finest setting only produces a medium grind. Not an ideal purchase...

DON'T BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP! I received my grinder in early August 2 weeks later it stopped grinding. I sent it back for warranty repair (cost me $9) in two weeks I got it back. A week and half later the repaired unit failed. I called Nesco to complain. They said they would send a replacement unit. I received the unit and within a week that one failed! That made 3 of them. I was so fed up I didn't look for a fourth one. I just pitched it in the trash and considered it a $40 lesson in "you get what you pay for". DON'T BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP! PS When it worked it was not good. Very hard to remove the grounds with out making a mess. Machine could not deliver a satisfactory course grind. If it was an option I would give this a negative star!

Not sure what everyone else is doing to kill their grinders, but I got one of these from a local retailer about 6 months ago or so and it's still working fine. The grind seems nice and even to me. I only give it three stars because it is a total PITA to clean and the range for the grind settings is pretty narrow, but it works for me.
